Porsche To Develop P9611 GPS Navigation
It seems that Porsche, a famous car manufacturer, is going to develop its own GPS navigation device. According to a Dutch website, PocketInfo.nl, the GPS will be named P9611 and will incorporate Mobile Navigator 6 GPS software.
From the rough translation, it seems that the device will have a 4.3-inch (480 x 272) touch screen display, Antaris 4 SuperSense chipset, built-in Parrot Bluetooth carkit, and Intel XScale 520MHz processor. A TMC receiver, for up-to-date traffic information, will be included as well.
Still from the translation, Porsche is planned to retail its P9611 GPS device in October. The price seems to be higher than TOM TOM\’s GO 910, but P9611 is promised to deliver more features than GO 910.
