Malibal Bodhi and Lotus Laptops

Malibal, a laptop manufacturer from Las Vegas, unveils two new lightweight notebooks, the Malibal Bodhi and Malibal Lotus series. Both high-end laptops are powered by Intel Core Duo processor, Intel GMA 950 graphics chipset with up 224MB of shared system memory, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and up to 120GB of Hitachi’s TravelStar HDD. Furthermore, the Bodhi and the Lotus machines are also equipped with Toshiba’s dual-layer 8x DVD/RW+- burner, integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam for video chatting and web conferencing, WiFI and Bluetooth connectivity, and 4-in-1 media card reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro). And surprisingly, the laptops come with the powerful Creative’s PCMCIA SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZA sound card which definitely will deliver a superb audio experience.
Onto the differences, the Malibal’s Bodhi notebook has a 14-inch WXGA GlassView LCD display with 1280×768 screen resolution, while the Lotus features a 15.4-inch WXGA GlassView LCD display with the same 1280×768 resolution. Respectively, prices are set to $1,099 and $1,115.
