Fujitsu yesterday unveiled its latest ultra-portable and ultra-light notebook under the LifeBook range, the C1410. Aimed at educational and small/mid-size business consumers, the 15.4-inch XGA laptop features an Intel Core Duo processor, a Crystal View widescreen display, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Wireless LAN, SD card slot, SuperMulti DVD burner, port replicator, and optional Bluetooth support.
For those who aware about their data security, Fujitsu has also incorporated TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 1.2, two-level HDD protection password, BIOS support for Absolute Software Corporation’s Computrace theft protection and secure asset tracking solutions. With a starting price of $1,039 for the basic configuration, the LifeBook C1410 laptop weighs at 6.4 lbs and provides an impressive 11 hours of battery life. It is currently available through Fujitsu, channel partners, and selected retail outlets.
